Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use TheCalculate (“the Site”), how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum and never sell your personal information.

Information you enter into calculators

The numbers and values you type into our calculators are processed in your browser to produce your result. The Site does not require an account, and we do not ask for or store your name, the figures you enter, or the results they produce on our servers.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics systems may automatically record standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate region, referring page, and the pages you visit. This is used in aggregate to understand how the Site is used and to keep it fast, secure, and reliable. It is not used to personally identify you.

Cookies and advertising

We may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as light or dark theme) and to measure traffic.

We also plan to display advertising through third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to the Site and/or other sites on the internet.

  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
  • You can also manage or block cookies through your browser settings at any time.

For more information about how Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps, see Google’s “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” page.

Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not maintain user accounts or store the values you enter, we typically hold no personal data to act on, but you are free to manage cookies through the controls described above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the current version.
